Job Title:
We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Operations Manager to lead the front desk and reservations team at a luxury hotel in Wicklow. The successful candidate will ensure seamless daily operations, deliver exceptional guest service, and maximise occupancy while leading and developing the front office team.
* Manage daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, billing, and guest services.
* Supervise and train reception and reservations staff, maintaining high standards of service excellence.
* Oversee room allocation, inventory management, and reservations to optimise occupancy levels.
* Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate guest needs and preferences.
* Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
* Prepare operational reports on occupancy, guest satisfaction, and departmental performance metrics.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
* 2+ years supervisory experience in a hotel front office or reservations environment, preferably with a luxury hotel brand.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of achieving results through effective teamwork.
* Strong customer focus and ability to resolve issues effectively, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, with a positive attitude towards working in a fast-paced environment.
