Role Overview
The Salesperson is a strategic professional responsible for driving business growth and development in Citi's Securities Services business in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, be recognized as a subject matter expert, and exhibit excellent communication skills to negotiate effectively at a senior level.
* Develop and execute business strategies to drive Securities Services mandates with Luxembourg-based Asset Managers.
* Position Citi's Securities Services business to clients, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance the company's brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as sales owner for Luxembourg, defining target markets, developing pipelines, executing deals from origination to implementation, and communicating plans and client expectations.
* Pursue cross-selling opportunities across Markets, TTS, and Securities Services products, identifying and exploring inorganic growth opportunities like partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.
* Refine sales and marketing strategies to expand Citi's client footprint and maximize revenue, establishing clear priorities and market penetration goals.
Required Skills:
* Experience in sales within a financial services organization.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Broad client relationship experience, preferably within the buy-side community.
