Role:
Responsible for leading and optimising manufacturing operations (safety, efficiency, quality and regulatory compliance) to achieve business objectives, driving continuous improvement culture and managing resources to meet customer demand. The role reports to the Senior Operations Director and is expected to play a key role as a member of the wider management team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of 4 Shift Managers and 50+ employees to consistently deliver results aligned with the Business Plan.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, efficiency, reduce losses, optimize costs, and enhance productivity.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality and safety standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, EHS, Planning, OE, Supply Chain ) to troubleshoot issues, improve initiatives, projects and new product introductions.
* In conjunction with Engineering, identify, scope and prepare capital request submissions.
* Drive, manage and embed operational excellence and a continuous improvement culture.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions to deliver improvements.
* Manage efficiently budgets, resources and capacity planning to meet operational goals.
* Participate in audits and maintain documentation up to date for regulatory compliance.

* Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong understanding of quality, environmental and safety systems and regulatory compliance
* Comfortable working in a team based, matrixed, ambiguous environment.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
* Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field, Master's preferred.
* Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years people management experience (leadership role).
* Experience in TPM or Lean Manufacturing tools. Implementation experience preferred.
* Experience leading changes cross functional, Change Management Certification is desirable.
* Experience in regulated industries is highly desirable.
