Known for our exceptional service, locally sourced food, good craic & buzzing atmosphere we attract locals and tourists alike. With a loyal customer base and a reputation for excellence, were seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our team and drive continued success. Job Overview As General Manager, youll be the driving force behind day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, atmosphere, and efficiency. Youll lead a dedicated team, oversee front and back of house coordination, manage financial targets, and maintain the unique character that sets us apart. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the bar and restaurant with a hands-on approach. Lead, train, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Manage scheduling, payroll, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and customer service. Work closely with the Head Chef and bar team on menu planning, specials, and seasonal offerings. Drive sales and profitability through cost control, upselling, and effective stock management. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues quickly and professionally. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food safety, and employment legislation. Represent the venue at community and promotional events as needed. Requirements Proven experience in a managerial role within a busy hospitality environment. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Passion for food, drink, and delivering outstanding hospitality. Knowledge of bar trends, stock control, and supplier management. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and problem-solve effectively. Flexible schedule availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
