**Job Summary:** This role is ideal for an early career engineer or graduate looking to work locally in a friendly environment that is team based, supportive and collaborative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative composite products as part of a strong team. The role requires excellent technical skills as well as hands-on experience in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture and test cutting-edge composite parts
* Lead research and development projects
* Plan and deliver engineering projects in line with customer requirements
* Improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes
* Develop manufacturing processes and define work instructions
* Complete reporting obligations on commercial and research projects
* Draft and review project reports and quality documentation
* Work in a fast-paced environment and assist with manufacturing tasks as demands arise
* Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in 'hands-on' work is highly desired
* Ability to communicate effectively, act decisively, and demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrate good problem-solving capability
* A positive can-do attitude, professional approach, and self-motivation are essential
* Individuals will be required to be mobile, with frequent standing, bending, reaching, grasping, stooping, and walking
* Open to ongoing learning, feedback, development, and cross-training
* Fluency in Irish is desirable but not essential
