The Resuscitation Training Officer (RTO) will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the resuscitation service within the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. This will involve planning, organisation, implementation and evaluation of all Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training for appropriate personnel. The post holder will act as an expert in resuscitation providing advice on an all aspects of resuscitation training, education and practice. The RTO will be responsible for the supervision, review and audit of resuscitation procedures.
