About The Venue
We are a dynamic, multi-outlet hospitality venue featuring:
* A modern hotel bar with craft cocktails and premium drinks part of the newly launched Marine Club
* A full-service restaurant offering a quality, locally inspired menu
* A large-capacity function and corporate event space part of the Marine Suite
* An outdoor deck and terrace for seasonal, high-volume service part of the newly launched Marine Club
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business as Bar Manager and play a key leadership role in the success of one of the area's new hospitality venues in the Marine Club.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead the beverage and bar operations across multiple outlets. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a strong track record in bar leadership, team management, and guest experience delivery in high-volume or multi-concept venues.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the bar, lounge, and outdoor deck, all part of the Marine Club and Marine Suite function space.
* Manage food service in the bar, outdoor deck, part of the newly launched Marine Club.
* Hire, train, supervise, and develop a team
* Ensure exceptional guest service at all times
* Drive bar & food sales through creative promotions, seasonal menus, and activations
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing laws
* Monitor inventory, control costs, and manage stock ordering and rotation
* Collaborate with the events team for seamless service
* Schedule and manage rotas efficiently to meet business needs
* Uphold brand standards and contribute to overall business goals
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or similar leadership role
* Experience in hotel bars, busy restaurants, gastro pubs or event-led venues
* Proven team leadership and staff development skills
* Strong working knowledge of drink trends, spirits, wines, and bar operations
* Ability to manage multiple service areas effectively and calmly under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with EPOS, inventory software, and rota management systems
