The successful Test Analyst will lead a new team responsible for the development and implementation of end-to-end testing strategy for a vitalpublic sectorproject.You should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly Agile methodologies, and experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps.ISTQBcertification is required. This is ahybridrole with great day rates.What will you do?Test planning and preparation: Analyse test requirements, define test conditions, and create detailed test cases.Test execution: Coordinate functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms.Defect management: Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.Collaboration with developers and product teams: Clarify requirements, support triage sessions, and ensure shared understanding of quality expectations.Test data creation: Prepare and maintain test data sets to support various test cycles.Automation contribution: Support the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts where applicable.Documentation and reporting: Produce clear test reports, metrics, and evidence for release readiness.Continuous improvement: Suggest enhancements to processes, tools, and ways of working.The successful Test Analyst will have 5+ years of experience in the above areas and excellent stakeholder management skills.Apply today for more information.
