Greystones Breakfast Cluboffer an Afterschool programme that provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment, where children can relax, complete their homework, and take part in a wide range of fun and enriching activities at the end of the school day. We are currently looking for Afterschool Assistantswho are friendly, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a commitment to delivering high quality care Responsibilities Assist the effective management of the day-to-day running of the after school Ensuring that all children attending, receive optimal care at all times Facilitating play activities, such as arts and crafts, with children and young people. Working with team members to plan weekly programmes and daily activities. Help set up and prepare spaces and materials for activities. Assist with administrative duties, including inputting work records and completing daily Requirements Fluent English is essential. All training (First Aid, Child safeguarding etc) will be supplied. Continuous training and development Garda vetting must be completed before commencement of employment. Start date 27th August 2026 Rewards Payment is monthly. There is free parking on site. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience. Minimum wage is €15 per hour. Required to work Monday to Thursday from 1:30 and finish no later than 5:30pm - 4:30pm/5pm/5:30pm 1 hour on Fridays 1:30-2:30 (probably not every Friday) Rotation. Maximum of 17 hours per week, Option to work in the mornings too for an extra 10 hours per week (on rotation too if desired). It is for term time only.
