Join us on our journey to grow our business while maintaining our core values of accountability, honesty, respect and communications.Why this role existsThis role is responsible for supervising the warehouse operative team with the aim of the efficient receiving, handling, storing, packing and rotating stock thus ensuring that Brennan & Company customers get the products they ordered, on time and in perfect condition.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of Warehouse OperativesAct as first point of contact for Warehouse queriesMonitor and report on a range of KPI's as agreed with the Logistics Compliance Manager.Organize and deliver relevant training as authorized by the Logistics Compliance Manager.Responsible for receiving and inspecting deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followedEnsure that incoming materials are consistent with the accompanying paperwork, are in good condition and are stored and stacked according to product storage requirements and company proceduresEnsure returned stock is received and receipted in accordance with proceduresPick, count, assemble and pack orders ensuring that stock is in good condition and that the order is consistent with the accompanying paperworkCheck lot numbers and expiry dates on stock in accordance with procedures and ensure appropriate rotationAssign monthly expiring and expired stock checklists received from the Logistics Compliance Manager.Stock taking and stock controlComplete daily/weekly temperature checks in accordance with agreed proceduresMonitor and log dispatched & return of specialized crates for cassettesWork in accordance with company policies and procedures ensuring quality standards are adhered toKeep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for warehouse personnel, other employees and visitorsOperate the forklift in accordance with agreed proceduresEnsure all aspects of health and safety are adhered to, reporting any issues as requiredAssist drivers with loading the vans for deliveries as requiredProvide day to day support to Head of OperationsOther ad hoc duties, projects and assignments as needed or directedSKILLS/EXPERIENCE requiredPrevious people management experience in a warehouse environmentGood numeric ability and excellent attention to detailIT literate and bar code scanning experience essential.Team worker with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the companyAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clientsAbility to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloadsExcellent customer relationship skills with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesAbility to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individualsBasic IT skills in excel/word/outlook desirableForklift LicenseClean drivers' licenseCompetencies and Behaviours Required.AccountabilityCommunicationsCustomer FocusDecision MakingGoal OrientationHonestyInterpersonal SkillsLeadershipPersonal AccountabilityPlanning & OrganizingProblem SolvingResiliencyRespectTeamworkTime & Priority ManagementWhat we can offer youCompetitive SalaryAnnual bonus based on the achievement of individual KPI's.Pension contributionsGroup Income ProtectionPaid Maternity & Paternity leaveSports and Social ClubLong Service Awards
