BOOKEEPER & FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR
Irish Pensions & Finance is an established pension brokerage working with the public and private sector. We have over 30,000 clients and run over 140 Group AVC Schemes.
We require an ambitious, career-driven Financial Administrator to join our team.
The Bookkeeper & Finance Administrator will report to the Finance Director. The main responsibility of the post is the maintenance of financial records, the processing of income and expenditure transactions, assisting in processing of payroll, and the undertaking of a range of financial reporting and administrative tasks.
The post operates in a team environment and will be expected to work in a collaborative way with staff.
The Role:
* Process supplier invoices
* Administer Purchase Orders
* Process transactions & journals
* Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register
* Maintain petty cash
* Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Provide support with budgeting and forecasting
* Administer staff expense claims
* Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll
* With the Finance Director, improve financial controls within the organisation
* General administration duties, filing etc.
The Candidate:
* Bookkeeping qualification
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* 1 – 2 years' experience working in a Finance role
* Experience of working with Sage Intacct desirable
* Work well under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
* Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook, use of CRM systems.
* Excellent Communication skills
* Team player with attention to detail, and an ability to work on own initiative
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
* High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
The Company will provide:
* Salary of €33,000 - €36,000 (depending on experience)
