What is the opportunity? Group Internal Audit provides independent, risk focused assurance and insight that supports the Group in achieving its strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technology, Data & Change Audit team as an Audit Manager. You will lead technology focused audit work across the Group, helping to identify risk, strengthen controls and provide clear, practical insights to senior leaders. This role suits an experienced internal auditor who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will: Lead the delivery of technology related audit engagements from planning through to reporting. Evaluate risks, internal controls and processes, providing clear conclusions and practical recommendations. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed and aligned throughout each audit. Provide expert input and guidance across GIA, supporting consistent, high quality audit delivery. Coach and support junior colleagues, including the use of audit methodology and AuditBoard. What will make you stand out? You bring strong experience in technology audit and enjoy applying your knowledge in a large, complex organisation. You are comfortable working in regulated environments, such as financial services, and can navigate governance processes with confidence. Your written reports are clear, well structured and tailored to Executive and Board audiences. You think critically, ask the right questions and communicate technical issues in a way that supports better business decisions. You work well across teams, lead through influence and are motivated by developing others and continuously improving how audit adds value. Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role: Data management and governance, including lineage and regulatory data requirements Cybersecurity, privacy and third party risk management Cloud, IT operations, change or programme risk Essential qualifications You must hold one of the following: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or a recognised accountancy qualification. More about the team Group Internal Audit is a diverse, collaborative team that provides independent assurance and insight across the Bank of Ireland Group. The Technology, Data & Change Audit team focuses on current and emerging technology risks, working closely with colleagues across the business. This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot Plaza, Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection.
