.We currently seek to recruit a Toolroom Operator Reporting to the Toolroom Leader, the primary responsibility is to assist in the smooth operation of work being carried out in the tooling department at Nelipak.Duties include:Assembly of production tools according to the production scheduleAdherence to safe practices and operation of all equipment within the facilityCompletion of work orders as scheduled by the toolmakerSandblasting of toolingChanging knife bladesStock checking and ordering of cutting knives and bladesPreventive Maintenance on all material, tooling, trolleys, and IGE boxesSucker plate modification and replacementOrdering, sourcing, and labelling of parts as requiredOther light Maintenance duties throughout the facility as requested by the Facilities managerAdherence to good housekeeping guidelinesAssisting the toolmaker in any duties as requestedThis is a full-time position working within a Medical Device Manufacturing environment, including Class 7 & 8 Cleanrooms and a workshop.Qualification & Experience Requirements:Leaving cert as a minimum with a 3rd level mechanical qualification/trade is very desirableTrained in the use of hand tools and computer literateMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentKey competencies include:A methodical approach and an aptitude and interest in mechanical-type workAttention to detail and ability to work on own initiativeGood organisational skillsGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel, WordKnowledge of Toolroom Equipment desirableProficient in the use of Hand toolsA competitive salary & benefits package are offered based on experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Additional leaveBike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingSick payWellness programWork Location: In person
