Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish connections with Hiring Managers to gather their requirements and create job descriptions.
2. Post advertisements for jobs and actively promote roles on job posting boards.
3. Maintain employee databases and recruitment portals, including engagement with head office functions.
4. Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews with candidates.
5. Coordinate in-person interviews and hiring events with candidates and hiring managers.
6. Deliver excellent service throughout, including interview follow-up and feedback, managing delivery of offers and related documentation.
7. Full responsibility for the Onboarding & Offboarding process.
8. Support the delivery of a complete onboarding & offboarding programme.
9. Assist in and conduct research for other onboarding initiatives, as well as using tangible data to inform the structure and building of additional induction resources.
10. Communicate onboarding progress to hiring managers and key stakeholders, offering solutions for onboarding issues and adopting a continuous improvement approach.
11. Maintain a superior working knowledge of current onboarding and offboarding legislation (probation period, unfair dismissals, retirements) and employer responsibilities, informing management of changes needed before they arise.
12. Monitor the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for the employee and hiring manager, ensuring all new hires are set up from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner.
13. Full responsibility for leavers, ensuring all employees are removed from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner and ensuring a positive offboarding experience for the employee.
14. Liaise with vendors to ensure employees (leavers) are removed from their listings.
15. Communicate offboarding (retirement, general leavers) progress to managers and key stakeholders, offering solutions for offboarding issues and adopting a continuous improvement approach.
16. Manage relevant ad hoc projects, ensuring that BAU activity is managed simultaneously.
17. Assist in creating and revising HR policies, ensuring they are consonant with the latest regulations.
18. Work as part of a connected HR team to drive forward collectively crucial HR processes and deliverables in relation to employee engagement, EVP, and well-being.
19. Act as a stakeholder in the Onboarding and Offboarding Service, managing records and tracking most recent updates for employees.
20. Answer general queries on the HR Helpdesk phone line or via the HR People Services mailbox in a professional and prompt manner.
21. Support senior staff across the HR department under various projects.
