Senior Maintenance Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Are you an experienced maintenance leader looking to take the next step in your career within a dynamic, GMP-regulated environment? Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to join their Dublin site.
In this critical leadership role, you’ll oversee the site’s maintenance operations, lead a high-performing technical team, and ensure equipment reliability to support manufacturing excellence. You'll bring a hands-on, solutions-focused approach and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the site’s maintenance strategy, ensuring process equipment availability and uptime.
* Utilise CMMS to track and optimise maintenance activities.
* Drive spare parts best practice to minimise operational disruption.
* Manage quality incidents and improve Right First Time (RFT) performance.
* Build and lead a high-trust, engaged team of supervisors and technical specialists.
* Collaborate with engineering, production and quality to resolve technical issues and optimise processes.
* Lead or support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
* Communicate key updates and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (essential).
* 5+ years’ experience in a senior maintenance role within a GMP manufacturing environment.
* Proven leadership experience within a technical team.
* Strong knowledge of CMMS, RCM, and process equipment maintenance best practices.
* Financial awareness and ability to drive performance improvements using data.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
What’s on Offer
* Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
