Advanced Product Development Engineer
The Senior Research and Development Engineer will design and develop new generation of microfluidic products, including flow cytometry products and microfluidic devices.
* Design and development of mechanical components of microfluidic biochips, such as precision instruments and highly sensitive detectors.
* Participation in research and development projects, preparing project reports, documentation, and proposals for new product lines.
* Support, quality control, and testing of existing microfluidic products and products under development, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
* Liaising with suppliers to support manufacturing processes, including ordering components and preparing specifications.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute verification procedures and protocols to identify product requirements.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in biomedical engineering or equivalent.
* Four+ years of experience in designing microfluidics instrumentation or biochip products.
* Knowledge of manufacturing technologies: injection moulding, vacuum casting, rapid prototyping, ultrasonic welding.
* Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and Solidworks.
* Track record of developing products from concept to production, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
* Experience with data analysis techniques, including Python programming.
