 
        Site Agent - CivilsMain ContractorWater Supply ProjectBackgroundThe Site Agent is responsible for leading and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of construction projects.They will manage their assigned team which may include Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors — ensuring works are completed to the highest safety, quality, and programme standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple construction projects from initiation to completion across urban and rural locations.Lead on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.Oversee project resources, budgets, and schedules to meet programme and financial targets.Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.Interpret and manage contract and design documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.Coordinate both temporary and permanent works design, obtaining necessary certifications.Monitor site progress, safety, and quality, reporting regularly on performance, risks, and opportunities.Promote and enforce company HSQE policies, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.Support procurement, cost control, and project reporting in collaboration with commercial and planning teams.Ensure all works meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Membership of a relevant professional institution preferred.Chartered Engineer status (or currently working toward it).Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Site Agent or equivalent role.Full, clean EU/Irish driving licence.Eligible to work in Ireland.
