Regulatory Risk Manager Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to assist clients in managing their relevant regulatory requirements. This includes supporting the development of new business opportunities and working closely with senior management teams.
You will also be responsible for planning and managing projects, meeting all deadlines in a timely manner. Additionally, you will interpret and implement regulations, support the development of client compliance frameworks, and review client documentation related to regulatory requirements.
Other responsibilities include designing and delivering regulatory training tailored to meet client needs, mentoring junior team members, and staying up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A proven track record of experience in regulatory risk management within a financial services environment;
* Strong technical knowledge of regulation, regulatory strategy, and financial regulator rules and guidance procedures;
* A detailed understanding of aspects of current regulation with the ability to develop a specialism in other areas;
* Outstanding planning, project management, networking, and influencing skills;
* Third-level qualification in a related area or professional diploma in compliance.
