ABOUT THE JOB: Reporting to the Administration Manager, the Banking Clerk is responsible for the processing of store receipts and payments in an accurate and timely manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with Department Managers and suppliers to ensure all discrepancies are actioned in accordance to company policies and procedures.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Perform the daily banking process and maintain store receipts and payments.
Ensure all lodgements are ready for collection for GSLS.
Maintaining internal reports for monthly submission to head office.
Keeping refunds and credits up to date and ensuring all signatures are present from Store Managers.
Keep the filing system up to date.
Follow up on correspondence from head office and store departments.
Maintain and record customer debtors information.
Issue petty cash and manage receipts.
Ensure all weekly admin pays / online pays sent via email are processed onto the system within a timely manner.
Placing coin orders for the store and checking the main float tin balances daily.
The role will also involve performing general administration duties.
YOUR PROFILE: Essential Criteria Leaving Cert or equivalent is required.
Minimum 2 years Administration/Banking Experience.
Strong computer skills using Excel and e-mail at a highly proficient level.
Desirable Criteria Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team.
Strong organisational skills.
Have the ability to work with numbers in a competent and confident way.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
Team player.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a part-time, permanent positionsubject to a six-month probationary period.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day in Dublin City Centre.
