Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Operational Resilience Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for scenario testing, management information reporting, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment to Operational Resilience regulations.
The role holder will design, plan, and execute severe but plausible scenario tests to measure our ability to respond to service disruptions. Additionally, they will manage a Scenario Test Library, ensuring alignment to industry and best practice. They will also analyze Operational Resilience Data, including scenario testing outputs, to understand trends and inform decision-making for resilience.
Key Accountabilities:
* Co-ordinate the design, planning, and execution of severe but plausible scenario tests.
* Management of a Scenario Test Library and ensure alignment to industry and best practice.
* Ensure continuous improvement of the scenario testing process through identification and implementation of key learnings and agreed process improvements.
* Analysis of Operational Resilience Data including scenario testing outputs, to understand trends and inform decision-making for resilience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in one or more of Operational Resilience, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Governance, or Assurance in a Banking environment, with a clear understanding and knowledge of associated risks.
* Solution-focused with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills and experience of collaborating across multiple functions.
* Highly motivated personality, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a dynamic work environment, with excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) including the ability to document and summarise meeting discussions, prepare reports, and track outcomes.
