Position: Accounts Receivable Co-Ordinator (Credit Control)
Salary: €45,000 + end of year bonus guaranteed
Location: Sandyford, Leopardstown (4 days on site / 1 day WFH)
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, this role is responsible for the day‑to‑day Accounts Receivable functions, supporting the AR Supervisor and wider finance team. We’re seeking an experienced finance professional with 5+ years in an Accounts Assistant role, strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities
* Manage all client queries via email and telephone, resolving issues promptly to facilitate timely payments.
* Liaise with internal departments to support efficient collection activities and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Process and allocate daily receipts to the sales ledger, ensuring unallocated cash is cleared in a timely manner.
* Manage outgoing invoices, statements, and the setup of new customer accounts in the finance system.
* Prepare and post manual invoices and credit notes as required.
* Set up and maintain SEPA mandate details in compliance with banking procedures.
* Oversee debtor platforms, including MyFleet, and assist clients with access and usage queries.
* Support the AR Supervisor with tasks within the debtor management app (iController).
* Proactively chase overdue accounts and follow up to ensure prompt collection.
* Undertake additional finance‑related duties as required by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within a Finance Department.
* Experience in the motor industry preferred but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail; able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is desirable.
* Self‑starter with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
* Strong work ethic and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
