## **What you'll achieve**In UDS we build enterprise-grade, massively scalable storage systems - clustered, high-performance, and resilient.
Our portfolio includes a multi-petabyte S3 object store and a scale-out NAS platform.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will work on innovative solutions using new and current technologies.
You will work as part of a scrum team to design and implement capabilities, often spanning multiple components.
**You will:*** Work on all aspects of software development life cycle: planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:## **Essential Requirements*** Great programming skills with 5+ years of related experience, preferably in C, C++, Java or Python* Experience in filesystem/ distributed systems* Excellent analytical debugging & problem solving skills* Demonstrable use of observability, diagnostics and operational tooling* Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively deliver value in a scrum team and collaborate effectively in a global Agile/Scrum environment**Desirable Requirements*** Experience in performance engineering/SRE* Familiarity with systems/storage including protocol behaviour (NFS/SMB/S3), networking, kernel/filesystem queues, caching* Ability to use ML/AI for anomaly detection, pattern matching, RAG over use case history, agent orchestration**Who we are**We believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
