We are seeking a
Contracts Manager
to join the
EPS Group
Contracts Team based in the West of Ireland.
In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation and successful completion of projects with defined timelines.
You will coordinate site operations with the Project Management Team to ensure key milestones are met, contributing to impactful projects across the North West of Ireland.
Roles and Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for delivery of MEICA contracts in the West of Ireland
Project manage all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations, primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works included
On contract award, review tender submissions and develop a plan for contract delivery
Assign tenders won to the appropriate PM for Delivery
Assist with the smooth transition from Tendering to Contract Delivery Team
Lead on Contract Design, considering innovative solutions and opportunities for off-site manufacture
Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the delivery of new and existing contracts
Oversee commercial matters arising during contract delivery – from supporting project engineers with procurement from supply chain, negotiating subcontracts, to managing commercial matters with clients
Monitor project programmes for multiple contracts
Coordinate regular contract review meetings with the contracts team
Ensure monthly invoicing targets are achieved
Create project programmes and ensure required project interfaces are accounted for from design to final site commissioning and handover
Liaise and coordinate all works with the client and relevant stakeholders
Manage all site labour including subcontractors
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget
Write engineering reports, review method statements and commissioning schedules
Ensure procedures are in place to facilitate the safe delivery of contracts
Manage and update monthly project tracker
Attend and contribute to EPS contracts growth and business development strategy
Attend regular meetings with the EPS MEICA Contracts Leadership Team
Skills / Attributes
Proven experience and ability to manage, mentor and develop team members
Proficiency in PC skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in mechanical & electrical design and ability to review and interpret specifications
Experience and knowledge of various process designs in the Water & Wastewater Treatment sector is advantageous
Proven track record in delivery of projects with a mechanical & electrical focus
Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry
Proven experience in delivery of projects with a strong emphasis on health and safety
Education Requirements
Third level Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering degree/diploma
Similar relevant degree or mechanical or electrical craft background
Additional Requirements
Full clean driving licence
Experience in a similar role
