As a Lead Automation Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, support projects, and business development for process automation design and implementation.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the development of system architecture and identifying qualified third-party system integrators. You will also collaborate with client counterparts to develop the automation system architecture at an early phase of a project.

You will work closely with the Process Design Group and project teams to support the execution of successful project studies and develop functional requirement specifications for automation systems. Additionally, you will develop user requirement specifications for automation scope of work and coordinate the application of automation products with end users and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Your responsibilities will also include supporting projects with third-party system integrators, performing other related job functions as assigned, such as instrumentation and controls specifications and design, and supporting project teams in the delivery of individual projects focusing on quality objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should have 8 years of diversified engineering experience with in-depth knowledge of industry requirements and applications within the process automation market. A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with preferred qualifications including excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
