Role Overview: My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee or Part Qualifed Accountant to join their small but busy accountancy practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
Tralee based Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Support the production of management accounts and financial reports Perform bookkeeping duties using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) Reconcile bank statements and maintain client ledgers Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns and tax returns Liaise with clients by phone and email regarding queries and documentation Support with payroll processing and related compliance tasks Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records Carry out administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice Candidate Requirements: Essential: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or working towards) Strong numeracy and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities Good written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools Eagerness to learn and develop within the accounting profession #CplCorkFin #ApplyNow!
