Senior Civil Technician Job Opportunity
This is a senior civil technician position that offers the opportunity to work with a well-established consultancy delivering structural and civil engineering solutions across Ireland and Europe.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, experience working with CAD software, and general construction knowledge. They should also possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality 2D and 3D models and drawings to support civil and structural projects.
* Prepare detailed civil drawings including cut & fill plans, sections, vehicle tracking and drainage layouts.
* Use Civil 3D and Revit to model surfaces, drainage networks and coordinate underground services with other disciplines.
* Produce 3D models to support project planning, design, and planning applications.
* Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and efficient design delivery.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles across roads, drainage, earthworks, and buried services.
* Experience working with CAD software (Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred).
* General construction knowledge and the ability to translate design intent into buildable drawings.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary Range
* €55,000 - €65,000 depending on experience.
