Overview
Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking qualified Electricians to install and commission domestic Solar PV systems. This position is based in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. This is a full-time permanent position inclusive of a competitive salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and additional benefits.

The Opportunity
As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.
Responsibilities
* Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
* Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
* Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
* Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
* Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
* Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience
* Live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary
* Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
* Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Test & Verification certification would be an advantage
* Valid driver\'s license

Schedule
Monday to Friday – Typically 1 Installation per day.
