Engineering Manager Due to their continued success our Clare based client are now recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join their team. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership to our Client's engineering services and facilities teams and to deliver successful outcomes both in operational service delivery and in the delivery of capital improvement projects and operational projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving operational excellence in safety, delivery and cost management. Key Responsibilities: Lead our Client's engineering services and facilities department to deliver operational and project success. Provide a hands-on leadership approach to getting things done Develop and manage engineering project budgets working closely with finance colleagues for accurate financial planning, reporting and management of costs Ensure that all responsibilities within the scope of the role are carried out in compliance with aviation and safety regulations (e.g. EASA, IAA, ICAO) Continuous Improvement Planning and manage Opex and selected Capex projects aimed at enhancing our Client's infrastructure and operational efficiency. Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Implement systems and processes for efficient data retrieval and ensure compliance with data security Adhering to public procurement guidelines, ensuring compliance and competitive procedures are followed. Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and inspections Drive and promote a culture of project management excellence in the organisation Key Requirements: Level 8 Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field At least 12 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 8 years in a team leadership or managerial role with demonstrated success in performance management and people development Must have experience of project management Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools (AutoCAD etc), MS Office and BIM System Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills For further information please contact Loretta Flynn Skills: engineering manager project manager project director opex capex
