You'll join a forward-thinking team driving large-scale retrofit and energy efficiency projects across the public sector.This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role supporting public bodies to enhance infrastructure, reduce emissions, and help achieve national and EU sustainability targets.Location:Dublin, Cork, Dundalk, or SligoContract:18 months, full-timeHybrid:2 days on siteHours / Annual Leave:35-hour week with 29 days annual leaveSalary:€52,026 p.a. (fixed, non-negotiable)Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership in monitoring and tracking the progress of high-impact energy projects from concept through to completion.Evaluate project outcomes, ensuring quality, compliance, and measurable sustainability improvements.Collect, analyse, and report on project performance to demonstrate real-world impact.Prepare engaging reports, data insights, and presentations highlighting programme success.Assist with procurement and management of technical resources in line with public procurement guidelines.Create compelling communications – including web content, case studies, and webinars – to share success stories and best practices.Represent the organisation at meetings, site visits, and public events, acting as an ambassador for sustainability.Collaborate closely with colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality results.About You – Essential RequirementsA degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in a relevant technical discipline such as Engineering, Science, or Building Services.At least three years' experience in a related role or sector (postgraduate studies may be considered).A strong understanding of energy efficiency, sustainability, or energy management in public, commercial, or industrial settings.Proven track record managing projects and working effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information.Strong IT proficiency and data analysis skills.DesirableQualification in Project Management.Knowledge of energy-related directives and standards (e.g. Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, Irish Building Regulations).Experience in energy decarbonisation, measurement & verification, or cost management.A passion for delivering outstanding stakeholder engagement and project outcomes.If you're looking to take thenext step in your sustainability or project management careerand want to play an active role in Ireland's energy transition.Send your CV toPhilly Lambe at Lex Consultancy.
