We are recruiting a Finance Administrator in Accounts Payable / Receivable Administrator to join the Finance and ICT teams at a Governing body. This role offers a blend of financial administration, transactional processing, and general support within a highly structured environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional seeking a stable, meaningful role within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities Of The Finance Administrator Job Include
Financial Processing & Administration

* Process invoices, upload receipts, and manage purchase orders
* Complete goods receipting and support AP/AR transaction workflows
* Ensure compliance with VAT, PSWT, RCT, and Prompt Payment requirements
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Operational Support

* Provide administrative and financial support to Finance and ICT functions
* Assist with ad-hoc administrative duties as required
* Present information clearly and contribute effectively to team discussions

Essential Requirements Of The Finance Administrator Job Include

* Strong experience in a financial or administrative role
* Working knowledge of VAT, PSWT, RCT, and Prompt Payment procedures
* Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in financial transaction processing

Desirable Attributes

* Experience within a public-sector environment
* Flexibility to undertake a variety of administrative tasks
* Ability to adapt effectively to hybrid working arrangements
* Commitment to high professional standards

Additional Information

* An accounting qualification is not required, but candidates must demonstrate strong financial and administrative expertise
* Hybrid working arrangement: approximately 50% onsite over a two-week period (subject to organisational requirements)

* €50,000–€55,000 salary
* 12-month contract, with potential extension for up to two further 12-month periods
