Automated Contact Lens Manufacturing Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automated Contact Lens Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of high-volume, automated contact lens manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and correct line detractors to support day-to-day operations
* Identify top line detractors using data-driven approaches and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance uptime, yield, and cycle time
* Organize and improve planned maintenance and calibration activities
* Critically assess machinery to source appropriate spare parts
* Support site strategy and capacity expansion projects
* Provide technical training to operations and maintenance personnel as needed
* Own, track, and report on safety, quality, and operational open items
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience
* Master of Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience
* Demonstrated ability to optimize highly automated production lines within a regulated environment
* Lean/Six Sigma and/or project management certification is preferred
