Transport Planner Role
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to coordinate and plan transportation activities, develop and implement efficient transportation strategies, and manage proof of delivery documents and processes.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Import/Export Operations: Coordinate and plan transportation activities
* Transport Planning: Develop and implement efficient transportation strategies
* POD Management: Manage proof of delivery documents and processes
* Job Creation and Invoicing: Create and manage invoices for transportation services
* Driver Management: Oversee driver schedules, hours, and performance
* Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and non-conformances
Requirements:
* 3-4 years experience as a Transport Planner
* Experience with temperature-controlled shipments and international transport between Ireland, UK, and EU
* Excellent communication and MS Office skills
