Job Role Overview
The Behavioural Specialist has a pivotal role in delivering effective, high-quality, team-based and clinical support to service users with intellectual disabilities, behaviours of concern and complex needs.
* Conduct comprehensive functional behavioural assessments
* Develop appropriate interventions and positive behavioural supports
* Monitor and evaluate positive behavioural support plans
Key Responsibilities:
* To work with other staff in preparation for multi-disciplinary reviews
* Attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Primary Degree in Psychology
* Post-graduate qualification in Behavioural Analysis or equivalent
Required Experience:
* Minimum one year's experience with adults with disabilities
