Vacancy Number: 25036Category: Business Support, Customer Service (Entry)Job Type: Full-timePosition DescriptionAs ESB Networks transition the electricity system to a high renewables, low carbon system, with customers at the centre, there is a need to maintain operational excellence and ensure security of supply, whilst developing and scaling more flexible demand. ESB Networks have recently realigned the organisation structure to focus on Distribution Markets and System Operation (DMSO) capabilities required to meet the recent Energy Demand Strategy (CRU 21/06/2023) and accelerated Climate Action Plan targets.As part of the new DMSO structure, the ESB Networks National Distribution Control Centre (NDCC) team is expanding to meet the needs of the future. The NDCC comprises of the Control Room and Dispatch teams. The NDCC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to ensure that centralised operational services are delivered to the required standards.
