Applications are invited for the position of
Senior Cardiac Physiologist
This is a permanent full-time 35 hour per week position, with the potential for a condensed working week
Essential Criteria
* BSc in Clinical Measurement Science, Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or an equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience as Cardiac Physiologist
* Substantive experience in the independent performance and reporting of Echocardiograms and /OR Substantive experience as an independent operator in the Cardiac Cath Lab, covering all procedures including angiogram / angioplasty (to include primary PCI), right heart studies, CTO
Desirable Criteria
* ESE accreditation, BSE accreditation or equivalent
Or
* BHRS accreditation or equivalent
* Current BLS and ACLS certification
* Experience in pacing and ICD follow-up
* Substantive experience as an independent operator for a full range of electrophysiological procedures including electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablation, lop recorder, pacemaker and ICD implants
