Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join the launch of a new bistro-style menu in a 4-star hotel.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes and sauces to a consistent standard.
* Operate effectively across various kitchen sections as required.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner.
* Supervise junior kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef.
* Support menu review and costing in collaboration with the Head Chef.
* Manage ordering of food stock when required or instructed.
* Maintain excellent standards of personal hygiene and food safety.
* Assist in achieving gross profit targets and controlling kitchen wastage.
* Support training initiatives and performance reviews within the kitchen team.
* Ensure full compliance with HACCP procedures and all hygiene record-keeping.
* Manage food storage and rotation, contributing to effective stock control.
Candidate Profile
* Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or high-volume kitchen.
* HACCP certification with a focus on hygiene and safety standards.
* Professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Strong team player with good communication and leadership skills.
* Flexible and available to work varying shifts, including weekends.
