Offer description

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform preventive maintenance throughout all areas of the hotel, including both front and back of house, interior and exterior.
* Maintain the overall appearance of the hotel.
* Carry out routine inspections of hotel equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
* Handle basic repairs throughout hotel and its grounds.
* Maintain high standards of decor & paint work throughout the hotel.
* General day-to-day maintenance.

Requirements:

* At least 1 year's experience within maintenance; hospitality preferred but not essential.
* Experience with fan coil units and air handling units, chilled and heating systems.
* Experience performing routine maintenance.
* Professional presentation and attitude.
* Available for weekend work.
* Strong time management skills.
* A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment.
* Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities.
* Multi-skilled with an eye for detail.
* Ability to work within a team.
