Lead a Team of Nurses and Deliver Person-Centred Care

Clinical Nurse Managers play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. This includes leading and managing the nursing team to deliver person-centred care, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and all relevant legislation, developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with residents and families, mentoring and supporting staff through training and performance management, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the nursing team to deliver high-quality care that meets the needs of each resident
* Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and all relevant legislation to maintain the highest standards of care
* Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with residents and their families
* Mentor and support staff through training and performance management to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
Requirements:
* A registered general nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration is essential for this role
* Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, is required for this position
* Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and best practices in elder care is necessary to ensure compliance and excellence
* Previous experience working as a Clinical Nurse Manager or a Senior Staff Nurse is desirable, but not essential
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills are required to succeed in this role
* A passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care is essential for this position
