Senior Leadership Role: Production Manager (Up to €60,000)

This company is a significant and respected employer based at their main production facility in County Tipperary. This is a critical leadership position, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, where you will oversee the entire operational output of the factory floor.
The Challenge: People, Process, Performance
You will be tasked with leading a substantial manufacturing team to meet ambitious output, quality, and safety targets in a fast-paced, heavy-fabrication environment.
* Lead & Manage: Oversee all daily production activities, managing a large team of supervisors, leads, and production operatives.
* Target Delivery: Develop and execute production schedules to consistently achieve daily and weekly output targets (KPIs) in line with business demand.
* Operational Excellence: Champion and drive continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) initiatives to increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), reduce scrap, and lower manufacturing costs.
* Quality & Safety: Ensure rigorous adherence to all Quality Standards and maintain a proactive, zero-incident Health & Safety culture.
* Resource Planning: Manage material flow, capacity planning, and resource allocation in collaboration with Supply Chain and Engineering.
Your Profile (Essential Requirements)
* 5+ years of hands-on managerial experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
* Minimum 3 years experience specifically managing large teams (30+ staff) within a heavy fabrication, structural steel, or metal assembly environment.
* Proven track record of driving change and delivering measurable results through Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Exceptional leadership, people management, and motivational skills.
* A relevant third-level qualification (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, or Production Management).
