Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee new-build housing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing daily on-site operations, ensuring all activities align with project plans and specifications.
The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards. Additionally, they will ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular site inspections.
Key responsibilities include managing project schedules and budgets, proactively addressing any delays or issues to keep projects on track. The successful candidate will also liaise with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment with project goals.
Maintaining detailed records of site progress, incidents, and compliance documentation is also essential. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering homes that meet high-quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Site Manager on new-build housing projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety standards specific to residential developments.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Relevant industry qualifications, such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), and First Aid at Work certification.
