In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the warehouse operation. You ensure that people, processes, and systems work together seamlessly to achieve operational excellence. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance, you create a safe and well-organised working environment. You act as a key link between the warehouse floor, management, and external partners.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Leading, motivating, coaching, and developing the warehouse team, including performance management
* Coordinating daily logistics operations (inbound, storage, outbound) and creating staff schedules
* Monitoring warehouse processes via ERP and WMS systems and driving continuous improvements
* Ensuring full compliance with GDP, safety, health & hygiene regulations and work instructions
* Training new and existing employees on procedures, systems, and quality standards
Fuel for your success in the role
We imagine you bring:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking and working
* 3–5 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
* Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing operational teams
* Strong knowledge of JD Edwards, WMS, and warehouse-related ERP systems
* Solid administrative skills and proficiency with Office 365
* Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
