Psychological Leadership Position
We seek a visionary leader to drive the delivery of high-quality psychological services to children and adults with complex disabilities.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead service transformation, focusing on autism and neurodiversity, aligning services with our client's strategic vision.
* Strategic and Clinical Leadership:
o Drive service expansion beyond physical disability
o Lead service development in autism and neurodiversity
o Ensure high standards of assessment, intervention, consultation, and support
o Embed evidence-based practices and supervise clinical teams
* Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build partnerships with families, communities, and external agencies
o Represent our client in national forums and promote service user feedback
* Research and Innovation:
o Promote and lead research initiatives
o Collaborate with academic institutions to enhance practice
* Education and Knowledge Sharing:
o Lead internal and external education programs
o Oversee training and supervision of trainee psychologists
* Operational Oversight:
o Monitor performance, manage risk, and ensure compliance
o Lead clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
o Support recruitment, resource management, and professional supervision
Requirements:
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, PSI Registration, extensive experience in disability, autism, and neurodiversity, proven strategic leadership and service transformation, strong clinical expertise and research background.
