This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. Key responsibilities include conducting medical screenings and enhanced primary care nursing duties, as well as supporting the Enhanced Primary Care CNM 2 in ensuring standards are achieved and maintained.
Key Qualifications:
* Experience working in a Health Screening environment/Primary care
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position that requires travel across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out medical screenings and other enhanced primary care nursing duties
* Support the Enhanced Primary Care CNM 2 in ensuring standards are achieved and maintained
* Provide leadership to agency nurses and ensure they follow policies and procedures
* Participate in induction training and competency assessment for new starters/agency nurses
* Monitor and maintain medical consumables and equipment
* Manage clinical waste produced as per Vhi Health & Wellbeing guidelines
* Answer patient queries and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
