Principal Clinical Engineering Technician (General) – SLRON/ /780
Location: Dublin (St. Luke's Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, St. James's Hospital)
There is currently one full-time post available.
The incumbent may be expected to attend from time to time at other locations within the network.
Responsibilities
Provide Clinical Engineering and Radiation Therapy ICT services to support safe and high quality radiation therapy.
Manage image transfer and storage, chart access, and support the oncology information system.
Support network-wide paperless operations and clinical user access to patient information.
Perform maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of radiotherapy equipment and imaging systems.
Assist in teaching, research and clinical trials within the department.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in clinical engineering, medical physics or related fields.
Experience with radiation oncology equipment and ICT systems.
Knowledge of VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, Veeam and radiotherapy protocols.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
