Our client is seeking a skilled Cisco Voice Engineer to support the Bank's Voice infrastructure in the Network Management Group.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with Cisco UCCX, CUCM, IM&P, Attendant Console and a strong understanding of VoIP, MGCP, H.323 and SIP services.
Responsibilities
* Develop automation methods for rapid deployment, configuration, and updates of telephony systems.
* Document all voice deployments and update documentation.
* Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of telephony services and deploy tools to gather such metrics.
* Gather requirements, analyze, and propose solutions for the telephony environment.
* Work on assigned network/voice infrastructure projects.
* Provide support to other Systems Infrastructure teams during project implementation.
* Offer day-to-day operations support for network, Voice, and security infrastructure.
* Resolve incidents, escalate to management and vendors if necessary.
* Work on incident resolution and daily tasks via ServiceNow.
* Evaluate service performance expectations against service levels and quality.
* Support system installations across all sites.
* Be responsible for projects and support work that may require some night and weekend participation.
* Participate in network team on-call rotation.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
* Extensive experience with Cisco Voice platform.
* Expert knowledge of Cisco UCCX, CUCM, IM&P, Attendant Console.
* Expertise in troubleshooting issues related to these platforms.
* Experience deploying and troubleshooting Cisco Jabber, SIP services.
* Hands-on experience integrating 3rd party applications with the Cisco Voice environment.
* Familiarity with Infortel CDR, Akkadian Provisioning Manager.
* Project development and management experience.
* Data networking knowledge, including routing protocols & switching.
* Awareness of network management platforms: Solarwinds and others.
* Ability to support mixed data, voice, and video networks.
* Capacity to complete tasks and projects independently.
* CCNP/ CCVP or equivalent certification.
