This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a competitive and fast paced retail environment.In this role you will work on various projects and work closely with many of the teams in Dunnes Stores.Key Responsibilities:Aid in the preparation of managements accounts and management reports for shareholders under the guidance of senior team membersAssist in the preparation of monthly board packs and analytical reviewCollaborate with senior team members to interpret and report financial information to assist management in decision-making and controlAddress shareholder queries and provide support in resolving accounting and financial issuesDaily and weekly sales reporting and forecastingProvide cross-team support as requiredAssist relevant teams with budget preparation for SeasonAssist in the collation and management of department overheads vs budgetAssist with different ad-hoc projects within the team and departmentExperience and Skills Required:Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an accounting role, either industry or practiceExperience of accounting/finance within retail/FMCG companies is desirable, but not essentialNewly or nearly qualified ACA, ACCA with a desire to progress to full qualificationExperience of budgeting and forecastingStrong systems aptitude with the ability to use MS Office products, in particular excellent knowledge of ExcelOracle Datawarehouse and Power Bi experience would be an advantageExcellent numerical skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and adhere to strict deadlinesMust be a confident communicator both face to face, on teams, email or phone, with the ability to engage and work with multiple stakeholdersEmbrace a work ethic that is customer focused and action orientated to deliver excellenceInterested?
