Senior Engineering Leadership Role
This is a senior leadership position that involves driving innovation and shaping the technology strategy of a highly respected asset management firm in Dublin.
The successful candidate will own the firm's technology strategy and delivery, working closely with the CTO and executive leadership team to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
* Taking full ownership of development strategy, roadmap, and execution across mission-critical systems.
* Leading, inspiring, and growing a lean but high-impact engineering team delivering at scale.
* Driving adoption of modern engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native).
* Partnering with investment leaders and the C-suite to ensure technology directly enables business growth and operational efficiency.
* Making strategic decisions with measurable impact on profitability, scalability, and client value.
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience leading software engineering teams, ideally within financial services or asset/investment management.
* A proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade, cloud-native, high-availability platforms.
* Strong track record leading lean engineering teams while embedding best-in-class practices.
* Commercially minded with excellent communication skills and proven success influencing at senior executive level.
* Experience with technology strategy, governance, and budget ownership.
* Deep expertise in cloud technologies and modern development methodologies.
