Role Description
The Communications and Marketing Executive will lead the company’s overall communications strategy - managing the Element Pictures brand presence across all corporate communications activity, and social media channels while liaising and working with external agencies for project-specific titles. This is a mid-level, hands‑on role, with plenty of room for growth, for a creative and strategic communicator who can craft compelling narratives about our projects, talent, and brand, while coordinating with external PR, design, and digital agencies when needed.
You’ll work closely with senior management, producers, and external partners to promote the company’s projects and drive awareness across industry and audience channels.
The company has offices in Dublin and London so some travel will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate and Brand Communications
Develop, implement and manage the company’s overall communications and marketing strategy.
Maintain and evolve brand identity across all materials and channels.
Manage all corporate communications, including press releases, company news, newsletters, and announcements.
Ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice across internal and external platforms including participation in industry panels and events.
Take the lead on the corporate strategy around awards submissions and liaising with distributors/ broadcasters.
Manage festival submissions, screenings, and launch events as required.
On behalf of Element, liaise with externally appointed agencies to manage the marketing strategies for upcoming productions (television drama, film, etc.), from development through to release. This project specific work by agencies will include:
Collaborate with broadcasters, streamers, distributors, on campaigns
Coordinate production press kits, EPKs, key art, and other promotional assets.
Liaise with cast, crew, and PR representatives to manage press opportunities and interviews.
Digital & Social Media
Manage and grow the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
Oversee creation of engaging, on‑brand content - from video clips to behind‑the‑scenes posts, showcasing the company’s talent and projects.
Develop digital campaigns to support production premieres, awards seasons, and corporate milestones.
Monitor and report on audience engagement and social analytics.
External Relationships
Manage and brief external agencies (PR, design, media buying, digital marketing, photographers/videographers, etc.).
Oversee budgets and schedules for marketing and publicity campaigns.
Liaise with industry bodies, media outlets, and partners across the UK and Ireland.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Min 5 years’ experience in communications, marketing, or publicity — ideally within film, television, or entertainment.
Strong understanding of UK and Irish media landscapes and International Film and Television drama industry.
Experience managing campaigns for screen productions and coordinating with broadcasters or distributors.
Excellent writing and storytelling skills with attention to brand voice and tone.
Confident in managing social media channels and creating multimedia content.
Organised, proactive, and able to balance strategic planning with hands‑on delivery.
Experience working with or managing external agencies.
