Civil Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity
Our client, a leading cost management and project management consultancy, is expanding its operations. The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience working on civil projects with main contractors or PQS consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare development budgets and feasibility appraisals
* Implement value engineering strategies
* Prepare tender documentation including bills of quantities
* Analyse tender returns to ensure accurate financial reporting
* Operate in-house cost management systems to streamline project finances
* Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and health and safety management systems
* Prepare payment recommendations and agree compensation costs
* Lead and manage support staff effectively
The ideal candidate will be a third-level qualified engineer/quantity surveyor/construction manager, chartered or working towards chartership, with excellent commercial skills and the ability to work proactively within project teams.
