Ross Commissioning (CX) Division supports major data centre and mission-critical projects across Ireland and EMEA. The team delivers end-to-end commissioning services across electrical, mechanical and management disciplines, working in close partnership with contractors and clients to ensure critical infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.As part of our ongoing project delivery and expanding portfolio, we are seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical and Electrical QA/QC Engineers to join our team for a long-term project in the Netherlands.We are looking for career-minded Electrically and Mechanically biased QA/QC Engineers, and this role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-driven professional who is looking to join a close-knit team and develop there Commissioning capabilities.Establish, enforce, and continuously improve QA/QC frameworks across Mechanical and Electrical scopes of workConduct site inspections to confirm works align with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and statutory obligationsInspect and verify MEP installations including HVAC, LV/MV electrical distribution, cable containment, pipework, and fire suppression systemsScrutinise and approve ITPs, commissioning schedules, vendor quality documentation, and technical submittals prior to works commencingWitness, record, and sign off on functional testing, pre-commissioning checks, and third-party inspection activitiesReview subcontractor method statements, risk assessments, and material submittals to ensure alignment with project quality standardsIssue NCRs where deviations are identified and track corrective actions through to verified close-outAct as the primary quality interface between construction, engineering, design, and subcontractor teamsContribute to quality reporting through updates to KPI dashboards, inspection trackers, and management progress reportsSupport project closeout through compilation of quality dossiers, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and handover deliverablesMaintain all quality records, certifications, and inspection logs in an accurate and audit-ready condition at all timesQA/QC Engineer – Ideal background:Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering or Construction discipline, with Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferredDemonstrable experience in a QA/QC engineering role on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centre, industrial, or technology-sector environmentsSolid working knowledge of MEP construction methods, applicable standards, and regulatory frameworksProven track record in developing and implementing QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and inspection regimesStrong communicator with the ability to engage confidently with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders at all levelsHighly detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills and the ability to produce accurate, audit-ready documentationComfortable working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment where meeting project deadlines is criticalIf you’re a results-oriented QA/QC Engineer who’s ready to support critical infrastructure projects, we’d like to hear from you.
